Science City Construction Hoarding, ETH Zurich, 2007-2009
Elective Course

The design potential of screen structures was tested on a hoarding system for building sites on the ETH Zurich campus. Perforations were used specifically to give views of what was happening inside the fence, while ensuring the necessary security for the building site. Although the designs focused on the large-scale presence of these temporary interventions, the students also had to pay attention to the close-up effects generated.
